Traffic and Parking Rules
IFTM University campuses are subject to the Road Safety in India & Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019, and the University's own Security Policy. These rules are applied and enforced to help ensure a safe and orderly environment for everybody who studies, works or visits IFTM University.
The University encourages the responsible parking of all vehicles. Vehicles found parked on university property contrary to the relevant legislation or rules may be issued with a parking infringement notice.
PARKING SIGNS
The university campus roads and car parks have signs and markings to identify different areas where one can and cannot park. These areas are regularly patrolled to ensure smooth and safe flow of traffic in the university campus.
ROAD MARKINGS
Yellow Line for PedestrianThe University shall maintain and enhance any existing crosswalks to ensure pedestrian safety and motorist awareness. A yellow line may be painted along a kerb to indicate there are parking restrictions in that area. An unbroken yellow line means that you cannot stop in that location.
Restricted Vehicle Zone
Vehicles in the university shall be allowed only up to the designated parking area. Entry beyond that point is strictly prohibited. PLEASE READ ANY SIGNAGE CAREFULLY
